Whether it's finding alternatives to opioids for pain management or understanding the biochemical effects of medications, pharmacology offers an in-depth look at how substances interact with the body. 

As a pharmacology major, you’ll dive into the study of how drugs and toxins affect living cells and tissues in the human body. Your journey will begin with core courses in biology, chemistry, calculus, and physics, building a solid foundation before advancing to more specialized topics on drug interactions. You’ll also have the chance to explore electives in areas such as forensic science, immunology, genetics, and bioethics.
