Program Summary
UTP Stage II: Recreation Management and Community Development is equivalent to the first year of the Bachelor of Recreation Management and Community Development degree program at the University of Manitoba. This program will provide students practical experience in community development, sport and event management, sustainable tourism and environmental management, and social and cultural development.
The Recreation Management and Community Development Program combines components from business, program development, science, public policy, and community engagement, among others. The program is very applicable in developing community budgets, expanding municipal programs, working with diverse populations, and building public policy.
