Program Summary

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the AUM College of Sciences will prepare students for a career in computer programming, networking, database management, multimedia design or technology architecture. In this program, students will network with the private sector with hands-on experience with the school's national and international partners. Students will use the most advanced digital resources in the world – the National Science Foundation’s Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment.

The Computer Science & Computer Information Systems faculty is engaged in the private sector, supporting research and partnerships with national and international user groups and initiatives, so students will learn from experts that can teach them to create solutions to real-world problems.

The program is designed to provide a solid foundation necessary for graduates to succeed in the computer industry and in graduate studies. In addition to obtaining general computer science training, students will learn multi-core architectures and programming. High Performance Computing is the main theme of this degree program.
