Program Summary
Foundation Studies Program in Health Science and Nursing is a university entry program designed for international students who have completed a minimum of year 11 or its equivalent. The course brings together a comprehensive introduction to health science, personal development, nursing fundamentals and interpersonal skills, and gets students on-track to a career in the health sector.
Students then transition to a Bachelor of Health Science which combines study with hands-on experience and allows students to major in one or two specialisations in the areas of health promotion, health services management, recreational therapy, clinical sciences and public health. The program is designed to give students the skills they need to work with clients and develop great services which promote health and well-being.
