Undergraduate Foundation Pathway in Engineering - Continue to Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Aerospace Engineering (with placement year)

3-Year Bachelor's Degree

Program Summary

If the student is interested in how aeroplanes and rockets are built, tested and changed according to their purpose then they will be able to do that and much more on the school's Aerospace Engineering degree courses. With the increasing demand for aircrafts for travel and cargo, the need for high calibre machines is vital and therefore creates a demand for highly-qualified aerodynamic engineers. Studying aerospace engineering at Brunel will develop the student's knowledge in engineering and enable them to learn, build and flight-test lower scale aeronautical vehicles.
The Engineering School offers foundation courses leading to degrees in four major subject areas including Design, Civil Engineering, Electronic and Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
All courses are designed to produce highly qualified graduates who will take up demanding roles within the engineering, design and technology industries by developing leadership, innovation and creative skills, in addition to the core technical and analytical skills, to enable and encourage graduates to follow successful careers and aspire to senior managerial roles.
