Women and Gender Studies - Integrative Studies (B.A.)

In the Women and Gender Studies program, students at all levels take an interdisciplinary approach to examining gender in various aspects of society, including social, political, cultural, and economic spheres. They explore gender throughout history, the portrayal of women in the media, feminist theory, and the connection between sex and gender. The program also delves into how factors such as sex, race, class, disability, and sexual orientation shape individual experiences, as well as how gender stereotypes affect personal and social relationships. Many courses provide students with the opportunity to analyze these topics from a cross-cultural and global perspective.​
