The International Study Centre is the perfect introduction to studying in the UK, giving students extra support as they start their university journey. By studying in an immersive environment, students can improve their English language abilities whilst gaining the academic experience they need for university. The International Study Centre provides the knowledge and skills needed for international study at Kingston University, London. The International Study Centre programmes are provided in collaboration with Study Group.

Why Kingston University International Study Centre?

  • Location: The University is based in the beautiful riverside town of Kingston upon Thames. It is a safe, student-friendly town and just 25 minutes from the centre of London, the world capital for business, finance and culture.
  • Accommodation: Kingston has a range of high-quality halls in multiple central locations, all close to the university. There is a free bus service that runs between the halls of residence, International Study Centre and town centre, making getting around Kingston easy.
  • Facilities:  International Study Centre students are welcome to use all the facilities from day one. The University invested £12 million to refurbish its studios. Kingston University now offers industry-standard equipment in 3D workshops, digital media workshops, photography suite and filming studio, helping students to gain adaptable skills for the workplace.

134 out of 134 programs are eligible for Post-Study Work Visa.

Post-Study Work Visa will be open to all students, on Tier 4 visas, who are accepted onto a course in the 2020 intake or later. Once you have successfully completed a course of study at the undergraduate level or above at an approved UK Higher Education Provider you would be able to stay and work (in any sector or at any level) for a maximum of two years.
The full details and requirements are yet to be announced by the UK Government, but will be updated here when made available.

Cooperative education (or co-operative education) and internships are methods of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience. A cooperative education experience ("co-op"), provides academic credit for structured job experience. Co-ops are full-time, paid or unpaid positions. Internships may be full-time or part-time, paid or unpaid positions.

Even if you do NOT meet our minimum English requirement (IELTS or TOEFL), you still can get conditionally accepted in the program of your choice with the condition of completing our English program prior to starting your chosen program.

Students need to plan their accommodations well in advance of their arrival as all accommodation options fill up quickly, well before the start of the semester.

On-Campus Residence Accommodations

On-Campus residence accommodations are provided per discretion by the school.

Off-Campus Accommodations

The local area has a variety of off-campus rental housing options including single homes, duplexes, apartments and rooms for rent. Students wishing to live off-campus need to research availability on their own and should arrive well before the start of term to do so.

Homestay

There are a wide variety of homestay options available, and our partners do their best to match students and hosts according to their interests and preferences. Homestay hosts include single people, young couples with children and pets, and older couples. All homestay accommodations have been inspected, and all adults in the home have completed a required criminal reference check.
