La Trobe College Australia is a pathway institution located on campus at La Trobe University in Melbourne. It delivers courses to help students’ pathway to La Trobe University if they are not able to gain direct entry into a bachelor or master course of their choice. Courses are available to both domestic and international students and taught in a nurturing environment. Best of all, diploma students receive credit for their studies and enter the second year of their preferred degree.

Co-op/Internship Participation
Cooperative education (or co-operative education) and internships are methods of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience. A cooperative education experience ("co-op"), provides academic credit for structured job experience. Co-ops are full-time, paid or unpaid positions. Internships may be full-time or part-time, paid or unpaid positions.
Conditional Offer Letter
Even if students do NOT meet the minimum English requirement (IELTS or TOEFL), they can still be conditionally accepted in the program of their choice with the condition of completing the English program prior to starting their chosen program.
Accommodations
Students need to plan their accommodations well in advance of their arrival as all accommodation options fill up quickly, well before the start of the semester.
On-Campus residence accommodations are provided per discretion by the school.
The local area has a variety of off-campus rental housing options including single homes, duplexes, apartments and rooms for rent. Students wishing to live off-campus need to research availability on their own and should arrive well before the start of term to do so.
There are a wide variety of homestay options available, and our partners do their best to match students and hosts according to their interests and preferences. Homestay hosts include single people, young couples with children and pets, and older couples. All homestay accommodations have been inspected, and all adults in the home have completed a required criminal reference check.
