StudyGroup: Leeds International Study Centre

Students who do not meet the entry requirements for Leeds Beckett University's direct programs may be eligible to take a pathway program at the Leeds International Study Centre. Each program introduces students to the UK style of teaching while raising students' academic skills, English language level and study skills. The International Foundation Year offers a choice of two academic routes depending on the students interests. Once a student completes their program and achieves the required grades, they can start their degree at Leeds Beckett University. 163 out of 163 programs are eligible for Post-Study Work Visa.

Post-Study Work Visa will be open to all students, on Tier 4 visas, who are accepted onto a course in the 2020 intake or later. Once you have successfully completed a course of study at the undergraduate level or above at an approved UK Higher Education Provider you would be able to stay and work (in any sector or at any level) for a maximum of two years.
The full details and requirements are yet to be announced by the UK Government, but will be updated here when made available.

Cooperative education (or co-operative education) and internships are methods of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience. A cooperative education experience ("co-op"), provides academic credit for structured job experience. Co-ops are full-time, paid or unpaid positions. Internships may be full-time or part-time, paid or unpaid positions.

Even if you do NOT meet our minimum English requirement (IELTS or TOEFL), you still can get conditionally accepted in the program of your choice with the condition of completing our English program prior to starting your chosen program.

Students need to plan their accommodations well in advance of their arrival as all accommodation options fill up quickly, well before the start of the semester.

On-Campus Residence Accommodations

On-Campus residence accommodations are provided per discretion by the school.

Off-Campus Accommodations

The local area has a variety of off-campus rental housing options including single homes, duplexes, apartments and rooms for rent. Students wishing to live off-campus need to research availability on their own and should arrive well before the start of term to do so.
