About

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is building the university of the future – a forward-looking institution that changes lives. Nottingham Trent University empowers and inspires its community of students, staff and alumni by valuing their ideas, celebrating their achievements, and creating opportunities. Locally proud but internationally focused, Nottingham Trent University is committed to building lasting academic, social and professional relationships.

Nottingham Trent University has a hands-on, work-focused curriculum, which puts jobs at the heart of learning. With a fantastic reputation for launching great careers, Nottingham Trent University has created ground-breaking employability initiatives through their relationships built with industry leaders at home and abroad. Nottingham Trent University sustains an inclusive learning and working environment that's enriched by diversity, values differences and promotes fairness, respect and equality of opportunity.

With a community of over 8,000 students, Clifton is the definition of ‘campus life’ — a place with its own spirit and character, and somewhere students will be proud to live and learn. Located just four miles south of Nottingham city centre, it gives students the best of both worlds: their own place and space, with one of Britain’s great student cities on their doorstep.

Clifton is also home to sport at Nottingham Trent University, with more outdoor and indoor facilities than students can shake a (hockey) stick at. There’s plenty of green space on campus too for when students need some peace and quiet, and when students want to stretch their wings and take in the sights and sounds of Nottingham, the city is just a short bus ride away.
