About

Students that do not meet the academic requirements for direct entry to Royal Holloway are able to apply for Foundation, International Year One and Pre-master's programs at the Royal Holloway International Study Centre. A foundation program bridges the gap between a student's high school education and the first year of study at Royal Holloway, as well as providing an opportunity to develop English language skills. International Year One programs allow students to complete the first year of their undergraduate degree with additional support from the International Study Centre. The pre-masters programs allow students to develop their English and research skills prior to entering a taught masters at Royal Holloway.
