  • Location: The VU Brisbane Campus is located in Fortitude Valley, one of the city’s liveliest suburbs, with boutique shops and bars, live music venues and multicultural restaurants, including in Chinatown Mall. The new campus comes at the best possible time: Brisbane is booming and has much more on the horizon in the lead-up to 2032.
  • Facilities: The campus opened in May 2023 and offers brand-new facilities including a learning hub, student lounges, computer labs and spacious classrooms. The University's dedicated student support team will help students settle in and succeed.
  • Flexible and Adaptable Learning: Classes are small and collaborative with more face-to-face time with teacher. There are also options to fast-track or pause studies if life demands a break. The VU Block Model allows students to focus on one or two subjects at a time through three hour classes, three days a week. Focused, flexible timetables help students balance study with work and personal commitments. Students will also benefit from faster feedback on all their assessments.
  • Scholarships: Victoria University, Brisbane is proud to offer a range of scholarships to support international students. Each year they award scholarships to support education at all levels of study. The scholarships provide financial assistance during study, partially funding students' tuition fees. All scholarship applicants must meet VU’s academic entry requirements, in addition to any eligibility requirements for their scholarship.

Features

13 out of 13 programs are eligible for Temporary Graduate Visa.

The Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) allows international students who have recently graduated from an Australian institution to live, study, and work in Australia temporarily after they finish their studies.
This visa is divided into two streams:

  • Graduate Work stream – For international students who have skills and qualifications that relate to an occupation on Australia's Skilled Occupation List. This stream grants a visa for up to 18 months.
  • Post-Study Work stream – For international students who have recently graduated with a degree from an Australian institution. This stream can grant a visa for 2 to 4 years depending on the qualification level (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree).

The Temporary Graduate Visa helps graduates gain work experience in Australia, and in some cases, it may also help them qualify for a skilled migration visa if they meet additional criteria.
