Program Summary

The Business with Marketing, BA Hons degree introduces students to business from an analytical, strategic and marketing point of view. Emphasis on emerging issues such as sustainability, financial crises and technological innovation means that students will gain the skills to develop and manage businesses to a high standard.

This undergraduate course also gives students the opportunity to work with business professionals and/or local communities on live projects. Careers in specialist strategic marketing areas are popular with business with marketing graduates, especially within retail management, consultancy, small to medium businesses and start-ups.

Greenwich has an experienced team of academics and industry professionals. Trained postgraduate researchers also contribute to seminar teaching with their latest research-led insight. Teaching is informed by research and consultancy work.

Work placements are optional, and students are responsible for arranging their placement with support from the University. Previous students have secured a placement year at Warner Bros, Sandals Resort,  Enterprise-Rent-A-Car and University of Greenwich. In addition to this, learners can also opt for internships that last for a minimum of six weeks. They can gain a Certificate in Professional Practice and valuable employment experience before graduating.
