Program Summary

Program Description

The combined 4 year programme allows students with lower academic marks, or whose qualifications are not equivalent to British A Levels, to gain the necessary qualifications to proceed to undergraduate study.  After completing the Foundation Year, students will be eligible to progress to a number of University of Chester undergraduate programmes.

Working with industrial partners and the wider community, students will gain relevant commercial experience throughout their studies via close relationships with commercial partners.

Students will have opportunities to work on projects and learn the skills needed by industries in the local area.

Chester's academic staff in the Faculty of Science and Engineering are from a range of backgrounds, including experienced international researchers, industrialists and educationalists, to ensure students' time at Chester allows students to make the most of their potential.
