How to Obtain an American Student Visa
To study in the US, most students will need to apply for an F-1 student visa, which is designed for those attending a college, university, or English language institute in the US.
Once accepted by an approved US institution, you will be registered in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and required to pay the I-901 SEVIS fee. Your school will then provide you with a Form I-20, which is essential for your visa application. With these steps complete, you can schedule and attend your student visa interview at a US Embassy or Consulate to finalize your application.
